attend an opera 오페라에 가다

영화를 보러 갈 떄는 go to the movies라고 합니다. 

그러면 오페라를 보러 갈 때는요?

go to the opera라고 해도 되지만, 특별한 이벤트에 참여할 땐 동사 attend를 쓸 수도 있어요.

 

I attended an opera last thursday.
